The court, following the Supreme Court of Texas's order on a certified question rejecting the existence of a so-called "policy language" exception to the "eight corners" rule, found that the "very narrow exception" to the same rule also did not apply and, therefore, a duty to defend existed in an underlying liability lawsuit.
