A court of the Eastern District of Texas granted, as modified, an insureds’ ex parte application for a temporary injunction in a commercial auto liability insurance dispute to prevent the insurer from cancelling the insureds’ liability policies, finding that the insured motor carriers demonstrated a substantial likelihood of success, irreparable harm from imminent policy cancellation that would shut down their operations, and that the balance of harms and public interest favored maintaining coverage pending further proceedings.
