A court of the Eastern District of Texas granted an insurer’s motion for summary judgment and denied an insured’s motion to vacate an appraisal award in a residential storm-damage dispute, denying the motion to vacate because the insured presented no evidence of fraud, accident, or mistake and granting the insurer’s motion for summary judgment because the insurer had paid all amounts owed under the award plus interest.
