Danah L. Woods joined the firm in August 2014 as a senior associate and has been practicing law since 2006. Danah earned her B.A. from Texas A&M University in 1989 and upon graduation worked for a national insurance company as a claims adjuster, claims trainer and a claims manager. Her claims experiences includes first-party and third party automobile personal injury claims, auto physical damage, auto total loss, auto total theft, auto diminished value and homeowner theft claims. Danah also acted as a corporate representative for national class action litigation and has testified in both state and federal courts. While working as a litigation claims manager, Danah earned her J.D. from Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law) and was a staff member of the Texas Wesleyan Law Review.
Danah has substantial experience in both first-party and third-party insurance litigation from working in both private practice and as in-house counsel for a major insurance company where she gained extensive trial experience. Her current practice involves defense of individuals and companies in general negligence, premises liability, commercial transportation, insurance bad faith and coverage.
