Court: ND Tx 04/30/2025 Insurer Has No Duty to Indemnify for Injury or Death Resulting From Fatal Gunshot Wound to Domestic Partner
A court of the Northern District of Texas accepted a magistrate’s recommendation to grant an insurer’s motion for summary judgment in a liability dispute involving a fatal gunshot wound caused by an insured domestic partner, finding that bodily injury to a domestic partner is excluded under the policy and that no genuine issue of material fact exists under the Policy’s injury-to-an-insured exclusion.
